PREMIER SALE RESULTS

Sale was very satisfactory, 70% clearance. Ram lambs had a very good day.

1st prize winner owned by D Miley sold for €870, 2nd owner M Gottstein sold for €860, 3rd D Miley €620, 4th L Delaney €470, 5th L Barrett €560, 6th M Gottstein €570.

D Miley had an exc. day selling six rams av. €662. P Smyth with two late Jan lambs averaged €645 with exc. star ratings. Lambs with good star ratings sold easily for very satisfactory money.

Commercial farmer interest was very strong from Antrim to Wexford. High star rated sheep secured a substantial premium.
